A lot is s...What you've said here is very true. A lot is said for students having a year abroad etc, but traveling as a family is a completely different mode. I felt very similar when I finished working in a tourist environment in Killarney on my own and moved to Dublin with my fiance. Particularly in the friend department - the friends I had seem to have either been his friends first, or somehow acquired through him. Anyway, this post reminded me of those memories.
